15. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

  • Active account data (profile, resume, applications, job preferences): Retained for the duration of your account and deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
  • AI Coach chat history: Retained for the duration of your account. Deleted within 30 days of account deletion.
  • Payment and billing records: Retained for 7 years after the last transaction for tax and legal compliance purposes (processed by Stripe).
  • Analytics data (Google Analytics): Retained for 14 months per Google Analytics default settings, then automatically deleted.
  • Server logs: Retained for 90 days for security and debugging purposes.
  • Backups: Deleted within 60 days of data deletion from primary systems.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible, we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

16. DATA BREACH NOTIFICATION

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will:
  • Notify affected users within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach (as required by GDPR) via email to the address associated with your account.
  • Notify relevant supervisory authorities within 72 hours where required by applicable law.
